Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses hosts an annual Butterfly Day every August, including a memorial release of butterflies for lost loved ones. Kintsugi & Rock Run will have a table at this event to raise awareness of our Anam Cara loss support group. This event is free to attend with lots of free fun for families, and healing together through the release.

Butterfly Day is a special day at Ashcombe, to help our pollinators thrive and remember our lost loved ones. A butterfly release symbolizes new beginnings and a new life. We remember our lost loved ones as the butterflies fly around and even land on some guests. Your messages and stories will be shared during our memorial release. The annual butterfly release will happen promptly at 12pm. Butterfly crafts will be located in the greenhouse with bubbles and games in the courtyard.
